Why do we care so much about "rooted"?

The Simple Truth: Right now, the region is full of "chasers." We copy what worked in Silicon Valley thousands of miles away. We import someone else's playbook, and we get back pale imitations. We have become followers instead of builders.

The Evidence: When we only copy, we lose our own vision. Our best founders leave. Our ecosystem gets quieter. But when we back a rooted founder — someone who understands our own markets, our own people, our own needs — the value stays here. It builds a company. It creates jobs. It trains the next founder.

Azm exists to push back. We want to help our own founders build what the region actually needs. We don't want more people who copy; we want more people who build something true to here.
