Why do founder-built companies outlast the hype?

The Simple Truth: Hype-built startups "burn." Conviction-built ventures "compound." Most companies chasing the latest trend are designed to flame out in three years. They are made of buzzwords, borrowed vision, and other people's money.

The Evidence: Look at a company built by a founder who lived the problem. On day one, it's small and unglamorous. After ten years, it's rooted, trusted, and impossible to copy. It has what we call depth — it carries the founder's judgment, earned the hard way. A hype-chasing startup just spikes, runs out of story, and disappears.

Azm exists because we are tired of the disposable. We only back ventures built on real conviction — founders who see a real pain and build something that matters more the longer it exists. If it won't compound with time, we don't back it.
